NBA Launches NBA Bet Initiative With a Major Focus on Betting

After the successful debut of sports betting content- NBA BetStream, NBA has now announced the launch of a new NBABet initiative, which comprises a focused TV Show and gambling content.

A 30-minute weekly NBABET TV show will focus solely on the NBA betting news and market condition. This new launch will go live on Friday at 6.30 pm Eastern on NBA TV and run for at least the first two rounds.

The league has introduced NBABet Social media handle operated by the leading Action Network, which will provide all types of betting-centric videos, including the highlights and analysis.

Under the second round, NBABet will be launching NBA.com and NBA apps along with the editorial content.

Content will be provided by Yahoo Sports, Action Network, and Bleacher Report. In addition, BetMGM odds will have integration with these platforms.

Scott Kaufman-Ross, senior VP and head of fantasy and gaming, NBA said, they constantly view sports betting as an opt-in experience, and with the creation of NBABet, the company will be able to do that.

According to Kaufman-Ross, the NBA also needs to remain on top of any game credibility problems that arise, as well as be aware of and educate fans on responsible gaming. In order to avoid repeating the 2015 daily fantasy errors of over-inundating fans, the league is also attempting to follow responsible promotional practices. If you watched the NFL that season, you’d understand what he’s talking about.

Since the league puts the basketball competition in the US, the NBA wants to outsource all the content regarding betting to ensure it plays a pivotal role. The process is quite dynamic and transparent, which leaves the prediction to fans.

The NBA league is looking forward to continuing strong partnerships with top betting players like DraftKings, MGM, and FanDuel. With more than 15 states have legal sports betting app use, the market is set to grow further.
